Meet the Team

Lead Pastor, Joe Hawkins

Joe is a third generation pastor born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. Oasis is the third church plant that Joe has been involved in. He started in ministry 30 years ago. His heart is to passionately serve Jesus by serving others. He desires to see the people of God raised up and launched forth into their destiny and anointing to walk in supernatural ministry. He and Angela have been married for 38 years.

Associate Pastor, Angela Hawkins

Angela is a born and bred Tennessee girl. Her passion is to declare the goodness of God, to reveal the passion of the bridegroom, to destroy yokes of bondage, and to see the younger generation functioning right alongside the mothers and fathers of the faith. She and Joe have a deep passion to see revival unleashed upon the earth, beginning in Central Illinois. Angela is also the author of, “Underneath the Shadow: Experiencing the Depths of Jesus Christ.”

Oasis Kids’ Pastor, Alicia Hanly

Alicia Hanly is a passionate lover of kids of all ages. She is a true extrovert at heart, but that doesn’t stop her from loving a good book and quiet nook. Alicia was an intern at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO with the Fire in the Night program, where she worked directly with the Children’s Equipping Center. She brings a wealth of knowledge in leading the children in how to live as true kingdom kids - who know how to pray, prophesy, heal the sick and worship the Lord as a lifestyle.

Alicia is married to Adam Hanly - a rockstar photographer and they have a four year old daughter.

Oasis Kids’ Administrative Assistant, Leah Malone

Leah was on the administrative staff at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO; she successfully served on the administrative side of their major events and conferences. Previously, Leah served in an administrative lead role with A4 Teams (Riverside Community Church) and with MetroKids (Dream Center Peoria).

Leah is married to David Malone, who also serves on staff at Oasis and volunteers with the worship department.

Volunteer Intern to Associate Pastor, Daisy Hagemann

Daisy previously served the Lord as a high school teacher. During this time she discovered that she has a passion and a gift for working with youth; she enjoys coming alongside them, calling out their identity, and watching them walk in who they were made to be.

After nine years on assignment, the Lord finally released her from the school setting. Her desire in this new season is to serve & empower Pastor Angela to continue ministering to God, His people, and the lost.

Daisy's heart beats to see others encounter Jesus, be freed & healed from their pasts, and be transformed to live in wholehearted pursuit of God.
